About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide best-practice residential aged care in a safe, inclusive and home-like environment. We are committed to meeting the diverse and changing needs of our residents, along with their families and carers.

We’ve been caring for older Australians for nearly 35 years. From humble beginnings as a 30-room facility, Kanandah has tripled in size, responding to the demand for outstanding aged care in the Mudgee region.

We are a trusted operator in the aged care industry and we know what it takes to provide a quality, compassionate service. Our aim is to enable our residents to live independently - we encourage our residents to be autonomous where possible.

Our trained staff are on-hand 24/7 to help manage our residents’ health, medication and daily needs.

For compassionate care - whenever you need it

At Kanadah, our residents are part of a community, where meaningful connection, enjoyment and well-being is prioritised. Whether they enjoy an afternoon of bingo, or a quiet moment reading a book, we tailor our activities to suit you and your interests.

Choose from a mix of modern, comfortable living arrangements that make you feel right at home. We also provide a range of support services and on-site facilities, such as communal gardens, shared spaces, activities and more.

Families are encouraged to visit residents at Kanandah. Our facilities are designed for quality family engagement and connection, with indoor and outdoor spaces for families to socialise with residents, including spots for special celebrations. Family and friends can visit at all times, and are encouraged to join residents for meals, activities and day-to-day life.
